THE LOOP APARTMENTS

Our design consists of commercial units on the ground floor and prefabricated modular suites on the upper floors.

Suite modules are juxtaposed with staggered and protruding mass movements, different materials and different façade standards. In this way, it is aimed to offer a quality and qualified city life on a human scale as much as possible, and to reduce the effect of long and high blocks with mass and facade movements.

Each facade module is designed according to criteria such as economy, functionality and air conditioning. French balconies and PTAC units are adapted to the modules. The proportion of glass used is optimized to avoid cold climate, construction and operational cost problems. Natural, environmentally friendly and cost-effective materials such as bricks in natural tones, gypsum panels, metal clamps, wood are used.

Surrounding an inner courtyard, the design divides the mass into 3 parts on the ground floor, creating connections between the street and the courtyard. A more accessible and living courtyard is designed with commercial units facing both the street and the courtyard, and residential entrances both from the street and the courtyard.
