The project aims to renew and develop the existing 75th anniversary neighborhood park in Güngören and turn it into a 100th anniversary park.
Some minimal, low-cost interventions and additions have been made to the park, which currently has various problems such as too hard grounds, dysfunctionality and uncanniness.
In the northern part of the area, a 100th anniversary monument, a 100th anniversary open exhibition area and an event meadow were designed, where works from the last period of the republic are exhibited, for the 100th anniversary.
Memorial walls surround the event meadow, defining the space and also creating walls and niches for displayed items. The walls rise at a certain point, creating a monumental focus.
The remaining majority of the project is equipped with functions such as a children’s playground, exercise area, multi-purpose field, tables, buffet, jogging track, headman’s office, flower planting areas to serve the needs of the neighborhood, providing an opportunity for use open to rich and diverse experiences.
