Three alternatives were studied for the Karatay Industrial Facility Project. For each alternative; in the industrial facility consisting of four buildings, each building contains office and factory functions.
Offices are located on the facades facing the streets, and the factory unit is located behind it. The office masses are narrowed to give frontage to the factory masses. In this way, the space required for product entry-exit and loading is created.
The shrinking office masses are projected on the floors above the ground to increase the usable areas and to break the singular and monoblock effect of the mass. Separate cores are used in the office and factory sections.
