Qubadli district (Qubadli Rayon) in the south of the Republic of Azerbaijan is located in the west. Qubadli city, where the project area is located, is the administrative center of the district. The project area of 25 hectares is located in the central part of Qubadli. It is connected to the center on the main road and is accessible for emergency interventions.
The overall design approach of the Qubadli Central Hospital project, which is of critical importance for the region, is based on the cooperation of fragmented massing and green texture.
The designed spaces are positioned according to the relationship between the functions they host. The grouped functions are spatialized in a fragmented and interconnected manner, rather than being confined to a single, holistic and large mass.
In the exterior of the hospital, the presence of peaceful and relaxing areas on a human scale is emphasized, and for this purpose, resting areas (resting zones) have been created in the landscape.
A sustainable and ecological approach was adopted throughout the design, and technical details and materials were chosen accordingly.
